What we do
We replace central ACs, heat pumps, gas and electric furnaces, ductless mini-splits, air handlers and coils, and ductwork. We replace outdoor and indoor equipment together as matched pairs. When the ducts are the problem, we say so before we sell you equipment.
How we price a replacement
Every price starts with a visit to your house. We look at the equipment, ducts, attic, and electrical, then run a Manual J load calculation to work out the home’s heating and cooling needs. You’ll get a written quote with options at different efficiency levels, and each option shows its rating and price. You can decide on your own time.
How we install
We cover the floors and attic walkway while we work. We recover the old refrigerant, the fluid that moves heat through the system, and take the old equipment with us. We braze the new lines, pressure-test them with nitrogen, and pull them into a vacuum before charging the system. At startup, we check the charge and airflow, then walk you through the thermostat and filter.
Permits, rebates, and paperwork
Each city around Austin has its own permit and inspection rules, and Pflugerville asks for load calculation documents for a unit replacement. AHRI gives each certified indoor and outdoor pairing its own reference number, so we list each option’s AHRI reference number in the written quote because Austin Energy asks for it with a rebate. Our SEER2 guide covers the permit rules city by city.
Where we work
We work in Austin and the towns around it, including Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Leander, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Kyle, Buda, Manor, and Dripping Springs. The service area page covers the utility and permit differences between them.
